A lot of people feel they need to tidy up before a cleaner arrives. You don't, but a little preparation means more of the visit goes into actual cleaning instead of moving things around.
Pick up clutter from floors and counters where you can. Toys, laundry, and mail piles take time to work around, and we'd rather spend that time scrubbing the shower.
Tell us your priorities. If the kitchen and the main bathroom matter most this week, say so. We'll note it and make sure they get the most time.
Let us know about pets, alarm codes, fragile items, and any rooms you'd like us to skip. Those notes go into your file so you only have to explain them once.
Finally, think about how often you'd like us to come back. Most first visits are a deep clean, and booking your recurring plan afterward keeps the house at that level.
